Sometimes you think the paint is completely dry but underneath the dry skinned over top it could still be soft underneath. It certainly wasn't a lack of patience or lack of understanding of the instructions on my part. One of my Sprint up-scales took several retries because of crazing, bugs, various blemishes, etc. There was one particular spot where the paint blistered a number of times even after letting it rest for days after priming. Finally wound up sanding the whole thing down until it was pretty much bare tubing and started over. I have to keep reminding myself it's just a model rocket!Tim B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08035315074046387191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3612012025300219489.post-35379447113305338862017-02-16T11:00:18.925-05:002017-02-16T11:00:18.925-05:00I should add, different manufacturers (and differe...I should add, different manufacturers (and different kinds of paint) have different recoat times. It's a little difficult to press down on the spray can nozzle with your fingers crossed.Chris Michielssenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06907925631001358372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3612012025300219489.post-36316617514455232002017-02-16T00:31:33.340-05:002017-02-16T00:31:33.340-05:00That looks exactly like the problem I was having. ...That looks exactly like the problem I was having.
