The instructions show it over just the body tube.<br />Chris Michielssenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06907925631001358372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3612012025300219489.post-80813813514854290332017-05-05T19:38:40.712-04:002017-05-05T19:38:40.712-04:00I suppose the section of tubing could give you the...I suppose the section of tubing could give you the option to glue the "canopy" slightly forward, so that the front end partially overlaps the nosecone.Naoto Kimurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02762712349150120196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3612012025300219489.post-74722878791393000332017-05-04T11:27:59.304-04:002017-05-04T11:27:59.304-04:00Hi Lonnie,

The end result allowed me more space for a parachute.Lonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12140603984121094463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3612012025300219489.post-69158735378590437922017-05-03T11:51:16.171-04:002017-05-03T11:51:16.171-04:00Hi BAR,

When making razor cuts I always cut a little bigger than the pencil lines show. The final rough shape is made using 220 grit on a sanding block. I have also carved canopies using just my hobby knife making small chip cuts.
