The T-20 engine mount tube is marked for the eight spider beams. The spider beams support the fuel tank tubes to be rolled from card stock.
In the picture the spider beam lines are extended down the tube with a aluminum angle guide.
Pay close attention to the centering ring
positions,they are a little confusing.
The engine hook is held down with tape, the tape is locked down by the spider beams.
I went ahead and filled the top of the balsa spider beams. Just the tops were filled and sanded smooth.
While the instructions suggest painting the tops of the spider beams black, I simply ran over them with a Sharpie pen.
