Enerjet News, Mercury Little Joe I, Part 12, Decal Trim and Shock Cord
The trailing ends of the decal strip didn't adhere as well as I would have liked.
A little Pledge with Future Shine was brushed under the edges and pressed down.
The dried Pledge acrylic also hardened up the overhanging decal for easier trimming with a new razor blade.
The engine mount was glued in place.
The engine hook is on the same side as the launch lug.
The 1/4 wide shock cord was glued in place using a rectangular segment of scrap body tube. A great thing about using a body tube segment piece is it is already formed to the inside curvature of the body tube.
This type of shock cord mount is good for larger diameter tubes. It wouldn't be good for a BT-5, 20 or 50.
