While the fins are drying, the engine mount was made.
This rocket will use "t" or 13mm mini engines.
This is a standard mount, the engine will be a friction fit.
The BT-5 tube is 1 3/4" long.
The 1/4" long engine block was cut from a used 13mm engine.
The 5/20 centering rings are 1/4" long and cut from used engine casings.
The shock cord is two strands separated from a four strand 150 lb. piece of Kevlar.
The Kevlar was looped under the upper 5/20 centering ring.
Yeah, I know, I'm cheap! I'd rather build something than wait on an order.
