The rest of the rocket is covered with pieces of a cut up plastic grocery bag. You can see where masking tape was to the side of the Scotch tape already in place.
The nose cone has been removed and the bag ends are tucked into the top of the body tube.
An additional piece the bag was taped just ahead of the fin leading edges.
Except for two opposite fins, the entire rocket is covered.
Take a close look at the picture at the left. To summerize:
1. Clear Scotch tape was used for the masked color separation lines.
2. Lay strips of masking tape 1/2 way down grocery bag pieces.
3. Apply the masking tape (and attached bag piece) to the side and on top of the clear tape mask.
4. Finish masking and double check to see if there is ANY holes or breaks in the overall mask.
If you see a hole or slit, the spray paint WILL find it's way inside the mask!
