Here's another advantage to using a camera tripod as a LPR launcher.
TIP: Tie the wire leads around the angle arm for strain relief.
This keeps the weight, or any additional "pull" off the igniter.
If you tie them off at the right length, the clips will actually fall
away from the engine at ignition.
Years ago, the MPC launcher had a small "gantry" on one of the launcher legs. This held the weight of the micro clip lead wires.
It's to the right of the "Y" in the word Rocketry.
