The first went on fairly easily, the other two cracked. Check out the broken clip on the left.
On the right you can see how the wire "locks" under the upper and lower clips. The clips are open on the top and bottom so the legs can flex but still be held in place by the black clips.
It's actually a clever attachment, too bad they break when trying to slide them in place.

I had one of the "reissued" saucers Quest offered a few years back.
I like the look of this one better with the antennas and landing pads.
I installed a C6-0 engine. The engine clip bent out when the engine was slid in!
There is no way to bend the clip back, it's useless now.
The engine will have to be a friction fit.
that motor clip problem is the exact reason I don't like to get pre-built models.
