It helps to pre-bend the front of the upper shroud where it meets the nose cone base lip. The card stock won't set down in the middle without some coaxing.
Roll it up and around your finger. Make the bend smooth with no creases.
I'm holding down the glued front sides with a dowel for even pressure.
Look under the sanding block and you can see how the top half sits taller than the bottom shroud.
Sand down the top until it is even and the entire joint is square.
The nose cone should fit better.
Great build so far. You should pick up an Estes Fusion X25. It's a fun build, a bit jayhawk-like.
