A few months back on TRF, Bone Daddy was building a Estes Classic Chuter-Two. The Chuter-Two was originally a Centuri model introduced in 1967 HERE
Some questions came up about the reinforcing "fin strakes" on either sides of the fins.
On the right, check out the fins from the Asp IV plans, drawn in 1961 by G. Harry Stine.
The Estes kit face card doesn't show the strakes. They are in the kit and instructions.
At www.oldrocketplans.com you can find the Centuri instructions for the Chuter II design HERE
On the left is the G. Harry Stine drawing flipped 90 degrees and enlarged.
On the right are the printed fin pattern for the Chuter-Two. Pretty close, strakes and all.
TRIVIA: In the early Centuri kits (before die-cutting or laser cutting) the fin patterns were printed right on the balsa sheets.
