Estes Lynx, Kit #7233, Build Part 2, Parts Of Interest

The BT-20 blow molded nose cone with the big bubble canopy.
The other new kit, the Scorpion, shares this nose cone.


You might recognize the nose cone, it was used on the old Space Racer model from the early 1990s. On this simple four-finned model the canopy nose cone stuck out like a sore thumb!
The new Lynx design is a much better fit.

The decals are white, very hard to see on the backing sheet.
Sometimes white decals are printed on a blue backing.
All the pieces are outlined with a fine black line.





This tiny "L" piece is the forward launch lug standoff.
And I thought the engine coolant vanes were small.

This is going to be an interesting build with some small details.
