The stamp appears to be a 6-cent stamp. I can't quite make out the last digit of the year on the postmark.
If I use the info from here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_United_States_postage_rates I would guess that the postcard was probably sent sometime between May 16, 1971 and March 2, 1974.
Naoto, I stand corrected! I guess it was 1971. While there, Dane Boles gave me the new three pack of Mini-Brutes kits. They were released in the Summer of 1971.

Zoomed into the area in question -- looks like the postmark date is Aug 3 1971
