Old Estes Engine Instructions - Politically Correct?

Somebody was selling an old Estes engine instruction sheet on EBAY.
I remember these. They were rolled up around the engines and igniters and slipped into the heave blue engine tubes.

The EBAY copy says it is from 1965.
In the lower right you see a coated igniter. I thought those came out a few years later.

Here's the illustration I remember, the Chinese man who found a rocket. Even the question mark is written in a cliche Oriental type style.

You certainly wouldn't see this on a instruction sheet today.
Maybe Estes should have gave the Chinese some props.
They invented the black powder you use to make engines!
