Estes Space Twister #7258, Part 1, Parts

While this one looks like a standard three fin / nose cone rocket, there were some interesting bumps along the way.

 

I picked this one up in a sale. It must be discontinued, I can't find it on the Estes website now.

Not many rockets have green in their color scheme. There will be some inside edge masking for the green on the fins. 

The BT-50 main airframe tube is 18' long.

We've all seen the nose cone/tail cone combo in other kits. The tail cone isn't used on this rocket.

The fins are laser cut from stiff 3/32" thick balsa.

A narrow strip of balswa (seen on the left side of this picture) is glued down one side of the fins leading edge providing the spin during boost.

All other parts are standard.
