Estes Antar #7310 Build, Part 4, Finished Engine Mount & Fillets

Here's the assembled engine mount with the nine vanes in place.

The vanes are close together and could be hard to fillet.
I squeezed out a drop of glue. A toothpick was dipped into the glue drop and transferred into the vane/centering ring joint.
The glue was immediately smoothed out with a Q-tip.
The upper side of the engine mount was masked off along with the edge of the lower centering ring for silver spray painting. On this model it is easier to paint some assemblies before gluing everything together.

Look close at the left side picture to see a gap in the painted mount. I had to go back and apply another fillet fill.
The right side picture shows some better fillet joints.

    1. Hi Steve,
I don't know if ANTAR is an acronym or not. One of his other designs was called the FAFNIR.
