Mini Honest John Build Part 11 Gluing Fins
The trailing edges of these fins glue even with the end of the body tube and centering ring.
Extend the pencil marks around the back and onto the centering ring.
When fins are glued even with the back, you totally cover the penciled fin position lines. With the lines on the rear you have something to line them up with.
Use something flat to be sure the fins are flush with the back end.
Here I'm not sanding, but using the flat top of my sanding block to press on the fin trailing edge until it's even with the tube end.
This is always the best part of the build, dry fitting the nose cone parts in place and getting an idea of what the finished model will look like.
