The shroud lines are tightly would around a piece of card stock. This saves the line from tangling, but puts bends in the line.
TIP: Set your iron on low and pull the line under the iron. Go low on the heat to start, you don't want to melt the line. Place a towel over the lines to be safe. If the bends aren't removed, go higher on the heat a try again.
The 1" long launch lug is cut into two 1/4" lengths.
You can keep the leftover 1/2" length for a future build.
All the balsa pieces were set on masking tape, set sticky side up.
Where I can, I set the root edges of the fins against each other to keep the paint out. There's only three fins on this rocket so I may have to sand the paint off the root edge on the third fin. You can also mask off the root edge with a strip of tape.
The fins are glued on.
The tunnels are glued on.
TIP: Use your aluminum angle to be sure the tunnels are straight and in line with the fins.
