All the parts:
The tubes are tight and strong, almost no seams! The longer, lower body is a BT-60, the upper tube is a BT-52.
The 1/12" diameter dowels are used to make the tunnels and ullage motors.
The cardstock shrouds, fairings and tube marking guide.
These will have to be redrawn and printed.
Apparently, Estes didn't get an order of clear couplers that could slide into the BT-60 for fin attachment. The enclosed coupler is the same diameter as the BT-60.
The addendum instructions have you cut a strip out of the coupler and rejoin with clear tape!

A couple notes regarding home-printing on label material.
ReplyDeleteAt work, a co-worker found out (the hard way) one problem with label sheets if it's not meant for laser printer. The high temperature (to melt the toner powder onto the paper) could cause the adhesive to melt, causing the labels to come off the carrier sheet inside the printer and gumming up the works.
With inkjet, you could run into a different problem (with label sheet not meant for inkjet) -- the ink could end up beading up on the surface. Had this happen at work when someone tried to feed a sheet of mailing labels (the type meant for older impact-type dot-matrix printer) -- the somewhat glossy surface of the labels didn't take the ink well.
