Semroc Saber Parasite Glider Build, Part 1, Parts

The new Semroc Saber parasite glider kit was given away to the NARCON participants! It's always a treat to get a rocket kit in your welcome bag.

This is a sharp looking glider with a jet plane profile.
Turning over the bag you might think some parts are missing, but all the balsa sheeting is inside the folded instructions.

Here's all the parts. The square piece in the center is the wing parts, cut from 1/32" thick balsa. To the right is the 3/32" thick main body.

Parts of interest:
Small blue straw to be taped to the main rocket body, two staple hooks (you only need one for the build), balancing weight and a Stars and Bars NARCON decal printed on a white decal paper.

    It was a nice little giveaway in the goody bag. A couple years ago, Randy gave away a bunch of plywood rocket stands and launch lug multi packs.

    I'm looking forward to building this one.

    I saw this on Randy's site. Looks pretty cool. Really bummed life got in the way OF NARCON. I'll have to live vicariously through all my rocket friends who were there.
