Estes Twin Factor #7250, Build, Part 11, Assembly & Decals

After the assemblies were spray painted, the tape strips were removed.

The gluing lines left open cardstock for better glue adhesion.

The filler on the ring joints finished pretty well.

Glue was applied down the outside edges of the fins.

Glue was pressed into the saucer slots using a toothpick.
Everything fit together very well.

There is quite a few decals, many small pieces to cut out.

The curved Estes decals and curved lines were very close together. These required some careful cutting with not much border area between them.

Set down the Estes logo with curved lines decals first. Center them over the fin positions.

Check the decal alignment from the top and the sides.
Those orange and black decal shape decals are centered between those.

    1. Thanks John,
This rocket is almost all paper, except for the nose cone. One trick for paper molding is to keep your hands clean and not use much glue when joining it together. Wet glue can distort cardstock when it dries.
