Quest Harpoon AGM Build, Part 5, Paint & Decals

The kit instructions say to spray the model an overall white.
I'm good with that - no masking is fine for a change. The decals (and all those fins) are what make the model.

The face card shows a light yellow or maybe a gold nose cone. I went with the light gold.

Each of the middle fins gets a blue stripe that falls just below the rounded leading edge of the fin.
Sight down the decal from the side to be sure it is evenly spaced and straight.

Notice the slight decal overhang down and over the outside edge.
Don't press the overhang in place, let it hang and dry before trimming.

While the middle fin stripes were a little long,
the body wrap bands were a hair short.

Plan ahead - all the gaps were set in line on the back of the model, in line with the launch lug. The gaps won't be seen when the model is on the launcher.

The little tip fin decals took extra time to evenly space.
Wet the fin near the outside edge before sliding on the decal.
