Does anybody have a Vashon Valkyrie 2 for sale?
I'm no different than anybody else I guess. I'm trying to find the first rocket kit I ever owned.
I'm not looking for a Valkyrie 1, but the taller Valkyrie 2. I don't want a finished model, but the kit. The Freon can propellant isn't needed.

Chris - any idea which current nosecone comes closest to the original Vashon cone? I really like the proportions of the Valkyrie 2 but since I don't have any attachment to the real thing a clone works for me. Good luck with your search - hope one turns so we can see the build and you enjoy a little nostalgia!

ReplyDeleteThe nose cone is Alpha style but taller, 3/1 (3 length to 1 diameter)

The original Vashon aluminum body was 1" in diameter. The Centuri style ST-10 tubes are about 1".
