Estes Star Speeder #1366 Build, Part 9, Wing Rounding and Details
The two horizontal stab pieces are glued together, shown on the right. To the left is the vertical stab.
On the far right, the vertical tab is centered and glued to the underside of the horizontal stab top.
The kit doesn't say to round the leading edges.
I didn't like the looks of the squared leading edges so I went back and rounded them. This required me to add CWF to fill the exposed grain.
The launch lug guns are glued to the outside edges of the wings.
Here's a close-up from the rear.
Both bottom surfaces of the lug and wing sit flat against the work table.
