The upper adapter is made out of card stock, like the low nozzle.
After forming and fitting on the BT-5, the seam joint was raised from the glue tab underneath. You can see the raised shroud edge on the left. This glue tab goes end to end on the inside of the shroud.
TIP: To bring down the tab bump, wrap some 400 grit around a dowel and lightly sand down the inside of the gluing tab a bit.
On the left you can see the sanded glue tab on the inside. I didn't sand off much, just enough to lower the raised edge.
This instruction illustration should have been flipped over with the small tube on the top.
The instructions say to glue the tube and rings in first, then add the shroud.
For a better fit -
I glued the shroud adapter onto the tube and upper ring first, then glued the entire assembly into the BT-50 tube.
