Quest AS-1 Escort Build, Part 3, Engine Mount B

The yellow tube is thin and will have to be reinforced.
The rear edge got the usual wipe of medium CA. I also reinforced the engine hook slot after the bad cut was cleaned up with a sharp knife.

The CA'ed edge got a very light smooth sanding with 400 grit.

Before the blue engine block is glued in the Kevlar is tied on.
The instructions say to tie two overhand knots. A drawing shows a single overhand knot.
GOTCHA: Two overhand knots, tied the same way will make a "Granny", not a square knot. The Granny can slip and come undone under stress.

In the last post I noticed the yellow tube was short of the standard 2 3/4" length.
GOTCHA: The engine block overhangs the upper end when it is glued against the upper bend of the engine hook. This is just an observation, it won't effect the rockets flight.
