New Apogee Peak Of Flight Article

I have a new article just published in the Apogee Peak Of Flight Newsletter.

Over spray areas (outside the area you are currently spraying) can end up dull. You end up with a rocket that is glossy in most places and duller finish in others. The article explains a methodical way to get a better overall gloss finish on a model rocket using regular spray cans.

  1. Just read the article...great info. The idea about doing touch-ups by spraying paint into a cup, using a Q-tip, but *rolling* the Q-tip--pure genius! Thanks!

  2. "A rolled paper tower"? Ooops, who proofread this? :)

  3. Other than that, this is a great article. We do our painting in much the same way, but the Q-tip for touch ups is a great tip I had not thought of. I recently used them dipped in acetone to remove fresh paint that made it under Claudia's masking of her latest creation and onto already painted fins. That worked great, too.
