Estes QCC Explorer Build Part 6, Intake Assembly



Before gluing, be sure the twist pieces are at a 90 degree angle to the side walls, Part I.

While the picture shows thin CA being applied to the outside joints on Part I, I should have took a picture of the glue being applied to the inside joints.

Don't use a lot of CA glue - CA glue can seal the balsa and prevent filler from sticking in the wood pores.

You won't have to use much CA glue right now. Just touch small drops on the inside seams and let it run into the joints.
The interior pieces L, M and N are glued next.
There is some vertical "play" with these three pieces. The tabs are smaller than the slots.
Be sure the "step" of the interior pieces are even with the side wall of "I".

Set the pieces in place then touch the CA bottle nozzle tip to the joint.
