Two Mylar rings are glue onto the tube to space out the 13 short launch lugs.
You don't have to use much glue now - You'll want to be able to move and space out the lugs when all are in place around the tube.
You'll have to work quickly - get all the lugs in place with the glue not fully dried.
Here's what I mean about evening out the small space between the launch lugs. When you get all the lugs around the tube you might see more space between the first and final placed lug.
I pressed my fingernail between the lugs, getting the spaces even between the lugs all the way around.
Once the lugs have dried in place,
you can add some glue on the back. Keep the glue low, inside the edge of the ring.
I made a few passes over some 400 grit sandpaper to even out the ends. It didn't take much sanding.
