Well - I'm Camping!
First time in years in my new leetle box. I was a little nervous about towing, backing in and setting up - but all went well!
I (proudly) have the smallest camper at the KOA. The picture below shows a big one behind it for a size comparison.
Tomorrow I go to tour the Cape - camera in hand.
Don't expect regular build posts for the next two days. Their Wi-Fi is worse than the cruise ships!
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteSafe travels! Look forward to seeing pictures from the Cape.
Hi Jimmy,
DeleteMy Cape Kennedy report will be in a few days - not your standard coverage. I'll point out the weird things there.
GO Chris Go! Small campers=BIG fun!!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
J.W.
Hi J.W.,
DeleteSo far it's been fun and a real learning experience. Time will tell -
We’re debating on whether a small camper is in our future, might try renting one to see if it’s something we’d like. Let us know how your camper does if you have any rain - I’ve read elsewhere that those Runaway brand trailers can be leaky.
ReplyDeleteHi Openroad,
DeleteLast year Runaway went to all composite wall and roof construction - no chance of wood rot. The new roofs are one piece and "roll over" the walls so there's little chance of leaks.
They should have only charge you half price for the camping spot. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi David,
DeleteDon't think I didn't ask!
