Centurion Project Part 3 Cosmic Explorer Engine Mount

With the new position of the rings, the rear ring was set back to about 7/16" from the rear of the engine mount tube.

The notch for the engine hook was now too small for much hook movement at all. It was cut deeper with my rotary punch.

Here's how the rings sit with the fin TTW tab between them.

Look close and you can see where Estes rounded the corners of the TTW tab so they would fit better fit around the centering rings fillets.
This is a good idea and should have been added to the Plasma Probe fins!

I added Kevlar to the forward ring, but the TTW fin corner doesn't fit now!
I had to sand away the corner of the fin tab to fit over the Kevlar loop.

With the rings in the correct position the mount can be glued together.
The root edges of the fins aren't quite against the body tube. The root edge of the TTW fin tab will have to be sanded down slightly.
