Peter Alway Saturn IV Build, Part 25, Decals Part D

Two small triangles go beneath the angled launch lug details.
On the white side the triangle is black, on the black side it is white.

The black decal was simply cut off an extra black decal block.

The white triangle was cut from some extra self-adhesive vinyl I had in the spare parts box.
Hang on to old, left over decals and trim material. you never know when it might come in handy.

  1. Thank you for your reply to my questions. Actually Dr. Zooch (Wes) sent me a few irregular wraps to practice on because of my dexterity issues but it hasn't gone too good so far. VERY frustrating. But I guess it's practice, practice, practice like you said. Again I hate to bug you with so many questions, but in some older posts I saw where you had a tube cutting guide for sale but I can't find one. Is it still in production? Oh, and btw, the Little Green Man and the Pigasus just made my" must have" list. Thanks again for all your help

    1. Hi Daniel,
Wes is a great guy, I met him a last year's NARCON.
It is one of those: "Practice makes close" things. I used to hate card stock shrouds but now get good results with them.
The Cutter tool is no longer available, they were just too hard to fabricate. North Coast Rocketry makes a good tube cutter based on the Howard Kuhn (CMR) design.
Thanks in advance for your Odd'l Rockets purchases! Odd'l sales will keep this blog going.
