Thanks for that info, Chris. I also learned from Mr. Alway on a post to TRF that his iconic book, Rockets of the World, is selling on the NAR website for $30. I've seen it selling on Amazon for close to $200. Long out of print,lots of scale info in there. Considered "the bible" for scale modellers.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of books, I just received an order of "Growing up with Spaceflight" a 6 part paperback series by Wes Oleszewski, owner of Dr. Zooch Rockets. Goes from the Mercury up to the Space Shuttle programs. Brings back memories for those of us who grew up in the 60's. A humorous, non technical first hand account. Cheers.

I'm familiar with Wes O's series of books. I haven't read them yet. He did a talk about them at the NARCON a two few years ago.
