More Quest 18mm Composite Engine Information

Bob Jablonski (Starlight Model Rockets and Countyline Hobbies) posted these on Facebook - thrust curves for upcoming Quest composite 18mm engines. The upper picture is the thrust curve from a C14-5 engine. The second curve is a D16-7.
These were originally posted by Gary Rosenfield of Aerotech on his Facebook page.
The A3 and B4 engines are now on sale from the Quest website - CLICK HERE

The above screen grab was taken from the Quest website when the engines were first introduced. The thrust curves show a C8 and a D12.
This is a guess on my part - Maybe the C and D engines are more powerful than originally thought?

  1. C14 and D16? Now, I'm even more eager to get my hands on these.

  2. Hi Metal,
This makes the C and D composite engines more attractive. With Estes discontinuing the C11 engines, a C14 might fill the void with a 20/50 adapter.
