Quest Courier #Q2011 Build, Part 4, Fin Position Marking & Gluing

The fin marking guide is printed on the instruction sheet. It was cut out and wrapped around the tube end.

GOTCHA: The ends of the wrap didn't match up and were short by about 1/4".
I marked the tube anyway to check it.
After marking I rotated the paper guide around the tube and the arrows didn't match the pencil marks.

I went to Payloadbay.com and printed up a Fin Wrap Tool: CLICK HERE

The rear ring on the engine mount got a fillet of wood glue applied with a Q-tip.

Place a drop of glue on the Q-tip and set in the joint. Smooth and spread the glue drop with a new Q-tip swab.
Continue applying drops until the entire ring edge joint has a fillet.

The launch lug and standoff are glued 7" from the rear end of the tube.

Here's the model at this stage of construction.
The main body and fins are sprayed gloss white.
The egg capsule remains unpainted black plastic.
