Ten carloads of space modelers joined us at the monthly Orlando R.O.C.K. section launch.
At the left of the picture is Tom Dennon's Mom launching the BIG DADDY. Roger Smith captured all the smoke at ignition.
My Dr. Zooch SATURN 1 had it's great first flight on a B6-4. Straight up with full parachute deploy. No damage on recovery.
Ken Cooper impressed us all again with his designs.
This is TRON, a three engine cluster surrounding a full length nose cone at the tail end.
All three C6 engines lit for a big boost.
All engines are ducted for a rear eject chute.
My UP! CUP (18mm version) flew twice on C6-3s. Stable and high for such a draggy design. Roger Smith caught the boost and long contrail.
Also flown:
The original Odd'l Rockets SQUATTY BODY on an A8-3.
Art Applewhite MONOCOPTER on a A10-3t.
Carded Downscale PATRIOT on a A3-4t.
