Low clouds and wind gusts up to 15 m.p.h. were present for most of the day.
Carl Campbell of DFR Technologies flew his Semroc SATURN 1B twice, with an E18-4 and a E20-4. Both beautiful flights with a slower liftoff and at an altitude you could follow for the entire flight.
That's the Apogee capsule and tower. Over the tower is some clear sheet plastic for strength.

Preston Hoover's Q Modeling MARS SNOOPER II looked great during boost with a D12-5.
That five second delay proved too long though.
Here Preston holds the remains and vows to build it again.

My Dr. Zooch SATURN V flew well with an Estes C6-5 to an estimated 750 feet.
Still a favorite and returns undamaged, flight after flight.

DUH! PHANTOM had it's second flight to 900' with a C6-5.
Some other flyers caught the gist of the "Rocketry For Dummies" theme.
Also flown:
Semroc THUNDERBEE to 450' with a MPC 1/2A3-5m engine.
PIGASUS to 750' with an Estes C6-5. Small crack in the wing fin.
Ready but not flown:
Fliskits HEMV-4. I broke the igniter when inserting the toothpick. I wanted to fly this, a few hadn't seen a MMX rocket before. Note to self: Next time pack extra MMX igniters.
Semroc DEFENDER with three C6-7 engines. The wind was brisk and the cloud cover too low. Maybe next time.
