This BT-5 downscale stands 10" tall and flys with a 1/2A3-4t or A3-4t engines.

I've just printed the Yellow Jacket PDF at 52% of the original size. BT5 to BT 2.5 (yes, I know that is really 51.9%). The Body wrap of the yellow jacket fits perfectly around the BT2.5 tube. MMX fleet of your carded rockets here I come!

DeleteFliskits has a new Scaling Calculator to aid in down-scaling classic kits. So you can take all these carded BT5 designs and make them for BT4, BT3 and BT 2.5. So far the conversions of the carded rockets are spot on (and I'm using Quest Q9527 and Q9528 tubes). Plus Fliskits has the nose cones for the sub BT5 designs.

DeleteI'm aware of the Fliskits scaling calculator, I've probably used it in the past. Good to know my down scales work with the smaller size tubes. Let me know how they fly.
