Semroc Saber Parasite Glider Build, Part 2, Assembly

You don't have to do this, but I like to sand off some of the laser burnt edges.
TIP: You should (at least) sand off the blackened root edges of fins for a stronger gluing surface.

The glider hook is a staple glued into the laser-cut recess.
You do have to clean out some of the ash and wood to set and glue the staple in place.

Here's the staple in place, it is recessed about half way into the glider body.
The wing is slid in place into the long slot in the glider body.

Look at the back, there is a positioning and centering notch that fits into the back of the long slot.

At the front of the wing triangle are two shallow cut lines. Center these lines around the glider body.

TIP: This is a dry fit - no glue yet! You might want to round the leading edges of the wing parts before gluing it together.
