Two Of My Estes Builds At Show

Randy Boadway posted some pictures on Facebook -
Two models I built for Estes are already making the rounds, here displayed at The Hobbytyme Show.

Randy and Blaine show off the upcoming BOOSTED BERTHA.
And to the right is the large BT-60 based SASHA.
Both models should be good sellers for Estes.

  1. Wow, a two stage Bertha? And the Sasha looks very much like a Centuri Magnum Sam 3. Very exciting.

    1. Hi BAR,
The Boosted Bertha was introduced in the new 2019 catalog along with the Sasha. The Sasha looks a little like the Sam, but it's a different bird - Same diameter body tube on the booster and sustainer.

    1. Thanks Mike,
Finishing up a new boost glider for Estes right now. When these are released they'll be on the blog.

    2. Ah! NEW boost glider? Or a returning one? Either way that’s good news - though all my actual boost gliders are on the build pile - the X-24 Bug/XR-V doesn’t count.

Great looking builds - both are among the rockets in the 2019 catalog that really caught my attention. They’re on my possible buy list, while the Black Brant II is on my must buy list as soon as it hits AC Supply...

    3. Hi Openroad,
I'm not at liberty to talk or post pictures until it is announced by Estes. I can say it is a new boost glider design. I did talk to Bill Stine yesterday - I will be building two Black Brant IIs, two Mercury Redstones and Two Little Joe I kits.
