Estes Booth NRHSA Hobby Show, Las Vegas

This picture was posted on the Estes Model Rockets Facebook page.
I can see four models I built for Estes.
That's all I can say until the kits are released!
There are a few I haven't seen in person yet -
On the large poster it looks like the old Orange Bullet: CLICK HERE
Above that is a black and white rocket with flipped vanes like a Gyroc.

  1. An updated version of the Estes Gyroc immediately caught my eyes :-)

    1. Hi Leo,
The flipped vane fins are easy to identify. It looks like it might have a longer nose cone.

  2. Orange Bullet is a neat design, hopefully it recovers similar to the linked version though it can’t eject the used motor casing - pop pod with a streamer maybe? The sci-fi design Zed? looks intriguing. Interesting to see the MAV Lander front and center. What’s most interesting to me is what’s not there - Saturn B.

    1. Hi Openroad,
Under the monitor is a small orange/red rocket, that might be the Orange Bullet. The original Orange Bullet was BT-20 based. There are a few featherweight models Estes produces that have engine ejects, like the 220 Swift and Mini Mosquito. But a falling mini engine is lighter than an 18mm engine. Maybe they've got a streamer in there somehow.
I thought you can't have ejected casings only in NAR meets or competitions?
