Estes Saturn V Build Part 23 Gluing Wraps

Here's the tough one, the Interstage Wrapper.

All the S-II LOX Tunnels were taped in hopes the spray adhesive would hold them down.

From there, you draw tunnel alignment lines up from the Interstage Wrapper.
These should align with the Upper Second Stage Wrap.

I decided to start sticking that wrap down in the middle at the tunnel lines. The rest of the wrap was rolled around to the ends.

Apply the Lower Third Stage Wrap before finishing with the Body Wrap Reduction.

I was a little concerned when dry fitting the Reduction Wrap. I couldn't get a good fit around the bottom of the paper shroud. The fit of the top was fine, the bottom seemed a little wide.

Actually, the slight wide overhang is good. It should overlap the Upper Second Stage Wrap slightly.
If you sanded the bottom edge of the Reduction Wrap smooth and straight, you should have a great fit over the Upper Second Stage Wrap.

Time spent on build: 1:30 Gluing Down the Wraps
Total time on build so far: 24:00
