Estes Xarconian Cruiser Build Part 3 Fins and Wings

The long strakes are easy to mix up.
The upper two are the forward wing strakes.
The lower piece is the rudder strake. The front end is a bit smaller than the wing pieces.
I taped some waxed paper down to a hardcover book.
The wing and rudder pieces were glued and held tightly together with tape.
Two heavy books were set on top for dying.

The root edges on the three piece wings didn't line up well.
I lined up the curved leading edges and will sand the root edges even after the glue dries.

BUILD TIME
Cut out and sand fins smooth: 55 minutes
Glue Wings together: 20 minutes
Total build time so far: 1 hour 25 minutes
