The engine mount was pretty standard except the Kevlar line is run to the outside edge of the upper ring. I ran the line to the center.
Both rings had a large notch for engine hook movement. Normally just the lower ring has the larger notch.
The upper strake fins are cut from the 1/8" thick balsa sheet.
Be careful how you lay out the template on the balsa. Eight are needed. Each piece is 1/2 of the total long strake.
There is enough balsa for an extra or two.
After the fins are cut out from the 3/32" balsa, mark the high point line.
I extended the line outside the fin edges on the template sheet.
Set the fin on the template and draw a high point line with a soft pencil.
Flip the fin over and draw the line on the other side.
