Estes Payloader II #3022 Build, Finished















A great, classic Centuri design.
These pictures were taken before the "Centuri PAYLOADER " decal was added.

The pictures don't show off the Rusto metallic red paint. Outdoors it really catches the sunlight.
Painting over the payload tube (to hide the adapter and nose cone shoulders) gives the illusion of a longer nose cone.
I'm very happy with the finished results. This one could be the new favorite sport model.

    What length launch lug did you use on this build? Starting a Payloader II build and don't have any info on the LL.

      H J.W.,
      The launch lug seemed a little longer than usual. The kit had a 2" long launch lug.

      Thanks Chris! I have made two different sized clear tubing one 2.5" and another 3". I kind of like the look with the 3" tubing but I can always use the shorter one if necessary. I was able to measure a clear tube from an original kit and it was 2.5" I will go with a 2" launch lug on mine when I get it built.
