New 2020 Estes Catalog Is Online!

From Y.O.R.F., Swillie found it first!
The 2020 Estes catalog is online: CLICK HERE

I'll let you explore and find the new items on your own.
My big takeaway - A C5-3 engine is recommended for the Leo Space Train and other large 18mm powered models. The C5-3 is listed in Engines (Page 70) as a "Super C".

TRIVIA: The "Super C" engine name is taken from the original engines made for Centuri: CLICK HERE

  1. The Air Walker doesn't give a diameter, but the payload looks a lot like the odd-sized one I picked up from the ground at Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. The grounds are littered with unrecovered models of a couple different designs, by Estes, but not models I recognize from any catalog.

    1. Hi Daniel,
According to earlier catalogs, the Airwalker tube diameter is 1.1" O.D. This was not a standard tube for Estes. Heavier walled than a BT-50., a little wider than a BT-50H.

  2. Thanks for the heads up Chris!

I bought some of those payload sections from those Huntsville rocketsebay)....blue plastic and a odd size.

  3. What an odd decision to stop including model tube diameters with the description data.

    1. Last year there were several “editions” of the digital catalog before the print version arrived so hopefully the diameters will appear.

    2. Hi Overeasy,
I also noticed the tube diameters were missing. Not much room for the extra wordage, I guess.
