After gluing and filleting the centering rings, I realized I hadn't added the Kevlar to the mount!
Not a big deal.
A loop was knotted in some 135 lb. Kevlar.
A small flat screwdriver was used to lift the end of the top of the engine hook.
The Kevlar loop was slipped underneath.
The original Nomad kit had the coffin shaped Centuri Shock Cord Fastener. Of course, this clone only included a length of elastic.
And finally, the finished engine mount.
