You can actually sand the outside edges of the laser cut fibre fins round.
To prevent any delamination after sanding, I usually rub some white glue along the outside edges.
After this glued edge dries, sand smooth with a small piece 400 grit sandpaper over your finger.
Installing the engine mount is nothing out of the ordinary.
I'm using a block of wood to press the mount in place and to be sure the engine hook is even with the end of the main body tube.
Note the Kevlar is out the back of the tube when gluing the mount in place.
I usually install the mount, then mark for the fins.
The engine hook is more casily centered between two fins if the fin locations are marked after the mount is in place.
