I've had great luck with the 13mm BT-5 based Hot Rod Rockets Bell Bottom, I wanted to make one for 18mm engines.
I remember seeing this one in the mid 1970s and decided to give it a try with a few changes and updates.
I'll start the new build blog tomorrow.
If you really want something different take a look at NewWay Space Models Sky Spike.It's an 18mm cone fin rocket with a square body, NC, & Launch lug. A real attention getter and a great flier.

ReplyDeleteI have seen the Sky Spike. As I mentioned, a favorite is the Hot Rod Rockets Bell Bottom. It's the same style design.
The Centuri Finless flys okay with a B6-2 but is unstable with a C6!
