EDIT: This white ring was replaced with a ring of aluminum Monokote trim later on. Some pictures (and my Dr. Zooch Redstone paper wrap) looked white. I should have checked Alway's Rockets Of The World and I would have had it right the first time!
I added a ring of white decal paper to the bottom of the antenna housing.
It's just a strip of white decal paper, no paint, no clear overcoats. You can just cut the strip, soak and apply.
The antenna housing cap "V" struts were painted gloss red.
The same Rusto 2X (used on the tower) was sprayed into a small mixing cup.
The V struts were brushed red. After gluing up the tower there will probably some touch-ups.
The inside of the nozzle bells were blackened with a Sharpie permanent marker.
Here's the Estes face card picture and my assembled capsule.
In the Estes face card picture the antenna housing cap was left red.
The antenna cap hasn't been glued on yet. Don't glue it on until you see how the tower fits over it.
