Postcard From Vern

After my 1972 (correction, 1971) visit to Estes I sent a letter thanking them for the tour.
I got this postcard shortly thereafter:

That's what you call great customer relations!
It was addressed to Chris Dichielson. That's me, back then I had a weird way of writing capital "Ms".

    1. The stamp appears to be a 6-cent stamp. I can't quite make out the last digit of the year on the postmark.

If I use the info from here:
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_United_States_postage_rates
I would guess that the postcard was probably sent sometime between May 16, 1971 and March 2, 1974.

    2. Hi Naoto,
I can't make out the date either. We were at Estes in the Summer of 1972.

    3. Zoomed into the area in question -- looks like the postmark date is Aug 3 1971
(the 1 looks a smudgy compared to the rest)

    4. Naoto,
I stand corrected! I guess it was 1971. While there, Dane Boles gave me the new three pack of Mini-Brutes kits. They were released in the Summer of 1971.
